Sell your Florida business to a buyer who will run it.
For owners of established service businesses who want a confidential sale, a fair price on real numbers, and a team and customers left in good hands.
Built for owners of service businesses
We buy profitable, established service companies, often from founders who are ready to retire, step back or move on to something new. We plan to own and operate what we buy, with modern systems and AI-assisted workflows, so your team and customers keep the service they rely on.
Typical fits include HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors, landscaping and lawn care, cleaning and janitorial, pest control, pool service, and other trades with repeat customers.
- Confidential: mutual NDA before documents
- Direct line to the decision-maker
- Cash, seller financing or a mix
- Transition plan you help design
- Your team and customers treated with care
- Florida preferred, other markets considered
Selling directly vs. using a broker
Both can be the right choice. Here's an honest comparison.
| Direct to a buyer like us | Through a business broker | |
|---|---|---|
| Privacy | One buyer; no marketing of your business | Confidential marketing to many prospects |
| Commission | None charged by us | Commission set by your agreement with the broker |
| Price discovery | One offer to evaluate | Competing offers possible |
| Speed | Often faster: one decision-maker | Depends on marketing period and buyer pool |
| Best for | Owners who value discretion, certainty and a planned handover | Owners who want the widest possible market test |
What drives what your business is worth
- Earnings: SDE or EBITDA, and the trend over 3 years
- Recurring revenue: maintenance agreements, contracts, repeat customers
- Customer concentration: no single customer dominates
- Owner dependence: a team and systems that run without you
- Clean books that match tax returns and bank deposits
- Equipment, vehicles and their condition
Plan for these early
Sales-tax clearance. Under section 213.758, Florida Statutes, a buyer of a business or its assets can be liable for the seller's unpaid state taxes unless the seller provides a certificate of compliance or a receipt from the Florida Department of Revenue. Expect a buyer to ask for one, or to hold back part of the price until it's issued.
Licensing. Licensed trades need a qualifier after the sale. We plan for it in the transition.
Leases, contracts and permits. Some need landlord or counterparty consent to transfer.

Questions owners and buyers ask
Do I need a broker to sell my business?
No, but many owners use one, and a good broker can be worth it, especially for a wide marketing process. Selling directly to a buyer can be faster and more private and avoids a brokerage commission, but you get one buyer's offer rather than a competitive process. We're happy to work with you directly or with your broker.
What kinds of businesses do you buy?
Established, profitable service businesses with repeat or recurring customers, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and lawn care, cleaning and janitorial, pest control, pool service and similar trades. Florida is preferred; other markets are considered.
How do you value a business?
Usually as a multiple of seller's discretionary earnings (SDE) for owner-operated companies, or of EBITDA for larger ones. The multiple depends on size, trend, customer concentration, how much the business depends on the owner, and the team. We don't quote a multiple before we've seen the financials.
What if my business relies on my license?
Many trades need a qualifier. We plan for that early, for example through a transition period, a licensed manager or a qualified team member. Licensing rules vary, so we'll work through it with your advisors.
What is seller financing?
You receive part of the price at closing and the rest over time, with interest, under a promissory note. It can support a higher price and spread out your taxes. Discuss your situation with your tax and legal advisors.
Will my employees and customers find out?
Not from us. Everything is confidential, a mutual NDA comes before sensitive documents, and conversations with your team happen only when you decide.
